When a beeswax wrap stops sticking to itself and starts looking dry or patchy, it needs more wax. This block lets you recoat it at home with an iron and some baking paper. Made to go with our beeswax food wraps.
Pop an old towel under the baking paper to protect your ironing board, and use a grater you don't mind keeping for wax. If a spot still looks dry once it's cooled, add a few more shavings and go over it again.
All orders placed by 5pm, excluding custom orders, are dispatched next business day.

How do I know when a wrap needs refreshing?
When it no longer clings to itself or your bowl, feels dry, or looks patchy with pale spots where the wax has worn away.
My wrap went through hot water or the dishwasher. Can I save it?
If the cloth is still in good shape, yes. Heat strips the wax off, and recoating puts it back. A wrap that is torn or badly frayed can't be repaired this way.
Do I really need baking paper?
Yes. It keeps melted wax off your iron and ironing board, and gives you a clean peel at the end.
Can I use it with the Beeswax Food Wraps set?
That's what it's made for. Use it on any of the three sizes.
