CARE & USE
How to Use & Care
- First use: the wrap will feel a little stiff and slightly tacky, that's the beeswax. Warm it between your hands for a few seconds and it will soften and mold around cheese, cut fruit, half an onion, a bowl, or a sandwich.
- Keep away from heat: hot water, the oven, the microwave, and the dishwasher will melt the wax and strip the coating off the cloth. Wash by hand in cool water only.
- Between uses: air dry fully before folding away, and store somewhere cool and dry. Not using them for a while? They'll keep best in the fridge.
- Losing their grip: if a wrap stops sticking to itself after heavy use, a beeswax refresher block will bring it back to life, sold separately, see our refresher block listing.
Made from 100% natural, biodegradable materials, these wraps won't last forever, but if you treat them gently, they'll return the favour.

As these are food-contact items, once opened we can only accept a return if the wrap arrives faulty. Wax loss or damage caused by heat exposure (hot water, oven, microwave, or dishwasher) isn't covered under this policy, see Care & Use for how to look after your wraps.

FAQs
Can I use them for raw meat or fish?
No. Keep raw meat and fish off beeswax wraps, as the wax can't be properly sanitised. They're best for fruit, veg, cheese, bread, and dry snacks.
How long does one wrap last?
With gentle hand-washing and no heat, most wraps stay useful for 6–12 months before they need a refresher block or a well-earned retirement.
Are they vegan?
No. The coating is beeswax, made by bees.
Can I put them in the fridge or freezer?
Fridge, yes. Skip the freezer, the wax turns brittle in the cold.
What size should I start with?
The set of three covers most kitchens: small for a lemon half or avocado, medium for a sandwich or block of cheese, large for covering a bowl.
